Human Rights College to consider autism-related hotel breakfast case

The Human Rights College is set to consider a case involving a person with autism who requested an alternative to a regular hotel breakfast buffet because of overstimulation. The hotel offered a quieter breakfast time, but this was reportedly not sufficient for the person.

The case concerns whether the hotel provided an adequate accommodation for the request. No decision has been reported.
