Housing corporation Homesta plans to build 88 rental homes on a former residential area along Valtherlaan in Emmermeer. The site had reportedly remained undeveloped for nearly 30 years, while nature was allowed to take over. Construction is expected to start by the end of next year.

The project is associated with Domestica and is located near Valtherbos.
