Research by the Red Cross found that nine in ten recipients of grocery cards were eating less or skipping meals because of rising prices. In Gelderland, the Red Cross said it had helped 280 households with more than 5,200 shopping cards this year, including through a partnership with Vincentius Vereniging in the Nijmegen region.
