A fire broke out in the kitchen of a house on Boogstraat in Heesch on Monday night. Firefighters deployed several vehicles and scaled up the response because it was initially unclear whether anyone was inside; the residents were later found to be home. One resident was assessed in an ambulance and another was taken in by neighbours. The house was badly damaged, and firefighters broke through a ceiling to reach the fireplace.
