Hooghalen unveiled a monument marking 100 years since the first TT street circuit was held. Alderman Daan de Kruijf performed the unveiling on Saturday.

The former circuit was used from 1926 to 1954 and covered more than 16 kilometres through several places. Its legendary S-turn in Hooghalen was located at the junction of Laaghalerstraat and Hoofdstraat.
