An ETHOS census in Brabant has provided a broader picture of homelessness, including people who do not live on the streets. It includes people staying temporarily with friends or family, at holiday parks, in mobile homes or in other uncertain housing situations, and indicates that the homeless population is larger and more diverse than previously thought. Almost all regions in Brabant participated in the count, which also records hidden homelessness in addition to figures from Statistics Netherlands (CBS).
