A woman cycling on Van Galenstraat in Helmond was seriously injured in a collision with a car on Thursday evening. She was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Nijmegen.

The motorist drove away after the collision and had not been found. Police are investigating the cause of the crash and are seeking the driver.
