The record harvest of 100,000 kilograms of plums from the B&B Fruit family business in Herveld appeared likely to be lost. After a call from No Waste Army, nearly 50,000 containers were donated to the Food Bank, while part of the harvest was used by a Groningen lemonade maker for a soft drink called “pubescent juice.”
