Henk Storm, 68, from the Hoeksche Waard, has stuttered since childhood. He said the speech disorder made him insecure for years, but that he has now embraced it and overcome his fear of speaking about it.

On World Stuttering Day, Storm called for more attention to stuttering. He said that about 180,000 people in the Netherlands stutter and that many of them prefer to remain in the background.
