HEMA marked its 100th anniversary on 4 November. The Dutch retail chain celebrated with archive photographs, including images from its history in Tilburg.

In Den Bosch, collector Randy van Merwijk’s HEMA Museum displayed products from the company’s history, including tableware, household goods, televisions, alarm clocks, cosmetics and paint. Van Merwijk, who founded the museum about 10 years earlier, offers tours by appointment and said interest in the collection was growing around the anniversary.
