Two helicopters from private operators Fishtail Air and Dynasty Air collided while attempting to land in Pheriche, a Nepalese mountain village near Mount Everest. An Indian tourist died and two people were injured, including a New Zealand passenger and a pilot. One helicopter was carrying rescued tourists and the other cargo.
