Helen, a lyricist and mother of Max, Nina and Holly, described a sudden and complete change in her mood in a diary entry. Max and Nina are from her first marriage, while Holly is her daughter with Boris; Helen’s grandson Billy was born slightly prematurely the previous week.

In a later entry, Helen said she had recently discovered that she had a very short fuse. She also raised the possibility of swapping partners for a weekend and said that some foreplay would be allowed.
