The Westerveld municipal council wanted the swimming pool in Havelte to share the €80,000 allocated in the 2027 budget with the pools in Dwingeloo and Vledder. It also called for the municipality to seek a solution for overdue maintenance in public spaces, including weeds and curbs. These were described as the main outcomes of a budget meeting that lasted nearly two hours.
