Hannie Rohaan, an alderman from Hof van Twente, has been given a place on a national committee dealing with asylum, migration and integration. She wants to bring the experiences of municipalities in Twente and IJsselland to the national debate.

She also wants to ensure that the regional perspective is represented nationwide.
