Halloween was celebrated across Brabant on Saturday night, with decorated houses and streets, costumed residents and children going door to door for candy. Hundreds of readers reportedly sent in photos of their decorations and costumes.

Celebrations included a street in Eindhoven prepared for more than 100 children, a scare zone in Overloon, a transformed neighborhood in Nuenen-West and a cemetery-themed playground in Tilburg’s Wandelbos district. Families and groups in Beek en Donk, Breda, Terheijden, Bergeijk and Herpt also took part, with activities including costume competitions and large quantities of candy.
