Hacking of digital billboards near Cairo

Hackers displayed pornographic images on digital billboards along a major highway in Giza, near Cairo, after gaining access through a breach involving the website of the company whose advertisements had been shown. The images were later removed after the company restored its website.

Egyptian authorities said they had taken legal action over the incident. The hacker group claimed responsibility via a Telegram channel and said it had targeted digital infrastructure to expose security weaknesses.
