Graffiti attack on metro 51 at Henk Sneevlietweg

About 20 hooded and masked people stopped metro 51 at Henk Sneevlietweg while it was travelling toward Central Station on 31 October, then spray-painted the train within minutes. A bicycle was thrown onto the track and the driver’s window was painted over, preventing the metro from continuing. Passengers were aboard, and the driver was reportedly shaken.

The transport operator said police and enforcement officers were alerted, but the group had left before they arrived. It filed a report and secured camera footage for an investigation. Mechanics removed the bicycle and inspected the damage that evening; the train was cleaned the following day and is back in service.
