Invest International invested €2 million in PaperFoam, a sustainable packaging company from Barneveld in Gelderland, to help it expand production abroad. PaperFoam makes biodegradable packaging from starch and natural fibres as an alternative to plastic and paper. Its technology has been used in HEMA Easter Packs.
