A village taxi called Goddemee is set to begin operating in Gemert next week, offering elderly residents short trips for visits such as to a physiotherapist, hairdresser or friend, as well as to a doctor or a birthday gathering. It is also intended to make it easier for them to attend a kitten afternoon.
