Ghulam Rabbani, 55, was reported to have helped Dutch soldiers rebuild Afghanistan for 20 years, at personal risk. The Taliban threatened him and his family with death, after which he travelled to the Netherlands and ended up in Wierden. New European asylum rules have made his future there uncertain.
