German intelligence warning on Russian threats to Ukraine aid

The head of Germany’s foreign intelligence service, Martin Jäger, warned that Russia could use force against military aid supplied to Ukraine by its allies. He said Germany faces a risk of violent conflict with Russia and described the situation as a shadow war. Jäger said Germany does not seek confrontation but that Russia is forcing it, regarding Germany as a principal adversary. He cited Germany’s military support for Ukraine and its military presence in the Baltic states as reasons it is a target of Russian action.
