The Gelderse IJzerhandel (GIJ) in Oosterbeek is set to disappear from the shopping street at the end of 2026. Owner John Frijlink, 58, is ending his DIY business after 34 years, although business is reported to be running smoothly and the construction market is not considered a competitor.
