The Provincial States of Gelderland said they were surprised and shocked that part of the province was no longer accepting new electricity-grid connections. Several political groups said the province should do more to find solutions. D66, GroenLinks and PvdA planned to question the provincial executive about the matter, with D66 member Stan Hellegers saying the province should take a broader role.
