Shopkeeper Marloes Veenendaal has started a fundraising campaign for De Drijd, a fabric store run by fellow entrepreneur Gerda van der Welle in Zierikzee. Despite a court ruling in the case involving former alderman Paula Schot, Van der Welle was still facing more than €200,000 in damages, according to the account. Veenendaal said that every euro counts.
