Funding has reportedly been secured to continue plans for a railway tunnel on Kuipersdijk in Hengelo. The tunnel is expected to remove one of the main obstacles on the city’s ring road in a few years. Breemarsweg and Beethovenlaan are also set to receive additional government funding.
