Achtkarpelen, Weststellingwerf and Dantumadiel were criticized for making only a limited contribution to the reception of asylum seekers. Arno Brok made the assessment in a letter to Frisian municipalities, saying the three municipalities were not setting a good example. The remarks were welcomed by churches that are doing a great deal in this area.
