The scenarios are intended to encourage people in Friesland to think about how they will earn a living, how they will be viewed and what kind of society they will live in. The bureau says pressure on Frisian happiness is already emerging and describes the situation as a crisis in slow motion. It argues that work needs to begin now, although it is not known which future will come to pass.
