Frederick Richard wins world title on floor in Rotterdam

Frederick Richard reportedly won the floor exercise at the World Championships in Rotterdam, defeating defending champion Jake Jarman of Britain. Richard delivered a flawless final routine and received the highest performance score, while Jarman performed the most difficult exercise but made several small errors. Israel’s Artem Dolgopyat took bronze.

Arseniy Dolshevnko and Carlos Yulo, who entered the final ranked first and second, respectively, failed to complete their routines successfully. The 18-year-old Russian gymnast went out of bounds during a tumbling series, while the Olympic champion from the Philippines landed on his buttocks after a series.
