A 92-year-old woman in Utrecht was reportedly deceived by people posing as police officers and handed over valuables, including bank cards, in large envelopes. Her money was subsequently used to buy €30,000 worth of gold in Amsterdam. A separate report described bank helpdesk fraud in Utrecht in which more than €4,000 was withdrawn from an ATM on Nobelstraat. Police released footage of a possible underage female suspect, while initially obscuring her face.
