Formula 1 driver Franco Colapinto called on his fans to stop online abuse and threats directed at fellow drivers Lando Norris and Pierre Gasly after on-track contact involving him. He said such behaviour does not help him or his future.

Colapinto said he appreciated his supporters but urged them not to attack other drivers, teammates, mechanics or engineers.
