EU recall of condoms over rupture risk

France’s consumer watchdog DGCCRF recalled 7 million condoms in the European Union after finding that they could crack or tear. The action followed an earlier recall of about 300,000 condoms in France.

France also suspended for one year the sale and import of all condom brands made by the Malaysian manufacturer identified as responsible for the defects.
