More than 50 children in Gelderland are seeking a second home, according to one report. During the Week of Foster Care, a cuddly bear named Bo is drawing attention to foster care at 121 locations across the province.

Aart and Annet Kuyt, aged 58 and 56, from Ermelo have been foster parents for 14 years, offering children who need a safe place a home. Their household sometimes has eight people at the table.
