Fort Sabina was reported to have a new supervisory board after years of conflict, with the municipality investing in what Alderman Bennie Blom described as a quiet and healthy future for the heritage site. A reenactment of the liberation operation Rebound is scheduled at the fort on November 7 and 8. Blom said the fort should remain a place where visitors and volunteers meet.
