Five Flevoland municipalities immediately ended their contract with CareForYou Zorg in Almere. The municipalities said the provider had supplied incorrect and misleading information during the procurement process and that they had serious concerns about the quality and safety of the support it provided. The provider had delivered short-term intensive Home on Maat support to 16 young people and their families: 11 from Lelystad, four from Noordoostpolder and one from Almere, with the aim of preventing out-of-home placements.

The municipalities said they had collected signals, reports and findings from monitoring and research, and that CareForYou Zorg had been given several opportunities to address shortcomings. Replacement support is being arranged for all 16 young people and their families. The municipalities are still assessing whether further investigation and legal action are needed.
