Flevoland blocks plans for 600 migrant-worker beds in the polder

The province of Flevoland prohibited plans to create 600 sleeping places for migrant workers in the polder near Emmeloord. Two farms were deemed unsuitable for housing 300 workers, and additional buildings on adjacent plots would have been needed to provide enough accommodation. The province said those buildings would affect the landscape.
