Flevoland begins removing unsafe trees along Almere’s Tussenring

The province of Flevoland is removing diseased and unsafe trees along the Tussenring in Almere, between the Vrijheidsdreef and the Hogering. The work is due to begin on Monday and continue until Friday 20 November. Temporary traffic measures, including signs and traffic lights where necessary, will be used, and delays are expected.

Some trees have been affected by ash dieback, while others are at the end of their lifespan. Several trees have recently been blown down. The province said the removed trees will be replaced at a later date, with details to be announced when the new trees are planted.
