Five women from Arnhem—Jeanine, 51; Mariska, 42; Marre, 36; Shelley, 30; and Laura, 42—described struggling with alcohol addiction while having jobs and families. They said they had hidden bottles of wine, poured spirits into a mug and, in Laura’s case, deliberately paid for alcohol in cash. They are members of Alcoholics Anonymous.
