Fiskershúske museum temporarily closed and reopened

Museum ’t Fiskershúske in Noardeast-Fryslân was temporarily closed on 17 October because of concern about a potentially dangerous substance and a very strong smell. Director Amarins Geveke said the decision was taken as a precaution.

The museum has since reopened. It was reported that the material was immediately closed off and the area was quickly cleared because of the smell.
