Fireworks exemptions for associations are unlikely in Flevoland

◆1 source

Associations and foundations in Flevoland are reportedly unlikely to receive exemptions to hold fireworks displays during New Year’s Eve. Since 1 August, a national ban on consumer fireworks has applied, with an exception for locally affiliated associations or foundations registered in the Trade Register. Municipalities must approve such displays under strict conditions, including a safety plan, a suitable site with a safety zone, a maximum of 200 kilograms of packaged F2 fireworks, at least one supervisor and no more than eight people setting off the fireworks.
