A fallow deer became trapped in a fence along the Hoevensekanaaldijk in Tilburg on Sunday afternoon. Walkers spotted the animal and alerted the fire service.

Firefighters freed the deer by bending open the fence bars after calming it with a blanket. The animal then ran back into nature.
