A major fire broke out on Sunday afternoon at a warehouse of Domainen Roerende Zaken, part of the Ministry of Finance, on Overbuurtseweg in Bleiswijk. It was initially unclear what was burning at the site, which auctions confiscated goods including cars, scooters and boats.

An NL-Alert was issued because of smoke from the fire. Emergency services advised people to keep windows and doors closed and turn off ventilation.
