Maike Meijer's film Wen Er Maar Aan premiered on Monday. The film, based on her book of the same name, humorously depicts the inconveniences of menopause and features Meijer in the lead role. Her husband and children said they were very proud of the result. In remarks after a difficult week in which Paulien Cornelisse died, Meijer also said she had greatly admired Cornelisse's work.
