A 17-year-old girl named Rozanne reportedly fought with her best friend in front of about 100 high-school students in Zwijndrecht while dozens of them filmed the incident. The footage spread across the country: Rozanne was treated as a heroine, while the other girl was publicly humiliated.

Rozanne and her mother, Larissa Noldus, said the images continued to affect them years later and that such footage does not go away.
