Two people were injured during a fight on Kardinaal de Jongstraat in Valkenswaard on Monday night. A car drove through the street at high speed and hit a man on the pavement before leaving the scene. Police were also investigating whether shots had been fired.

Police stopped the car shortly afterwards on Gildebosweg in Waalre and arrested three suspects. One of the suspects was injured. Officers closed the street for forensic investigation and searched for possible shell casings; blood and shattered glass were found at the scene.
