FIFA fined the Spanish football federation, RFEF, $20,000 (more than €17,000) over Islamophobic chants during Spain’s 0-0 friendly against Egypt in March. The chants included a slogan targeting Muslims.

FIFA also ordered that at least 15% of the seats remain empty for Spain’s next friendly match.
