FC Utrecht held a Football Memories session at the Galgenwaard players’ home for people with early-stage dementia or memory problems. Participants used old shirts, well-known players, goals and matches to recall football memories, with the first meeting prompting both smiles and tears.

The club has joined the expanding Football Memories project of Alzheimer Nederland.
