Faizi Nazir held a Papas and Pony's workshop in the Netherlands where fathers learned to braid their daughters' hair, including styles such as Elsa and fishtail braids. Inspired by the English initiative Pints and Ponytails, Nazir first demonstrated braiding techniques before the participants practised them themselves.

Nazir said he started the workshop after recognising that he had previously left his daughters' hair to their mother. Participants described the technique as challenging but said they were pleased with their first attempts. Nazir plans to expand the initiative and hopes to bring together many fathers in Ahoy to teach them to braid.
