Police and municipal enforcement officers issued 30 tickets to fatbike riders during an enforcement operation in central Etten-Leur on Thursday afternoon. The operation followed neighbourhood complaints and earlier observations of nuisance.

The checks covered technical requirements, including speed limits, brakes and tyres. Tickets were issued for offences including riding in the shopping area, travelling against traffic, using a mobile phone while riding, speeding, having slick tyres and being unable to show identification.
