A mural depicting military personnel saying goodbye to their loved ones was completed at Eindhoven Air Base. It was intended as a tribute to service members, their emotions and those at home when personnel leave for missions or return from them. The artwork shows four soldiers from behind with the people they are leaving, including a father saying goodbye to a child and two partners parting. One soldier portrayed is Stephan Palaster, who had previously said goodbye to his young children before missions from the base.
