Family in Zeewolde builds an annual Halloween haunted house

A family led by Andra and Pascal Stoepman has turned its garden on the Passaat in Zeewolde into an annual Halloween haunted house. What began three years ago with a few decorations has grown into a tent with narrow, dark corridors, moving dolls and painted actors, centered on the fictional character Pusan, a doll doctor.
The family has boxes of Halloween props and expands its collection through Marktplaats and donated items. Neighbors have responded positively to the attraction, which the family builds with what it describes as a professional approach as well as love and fun.
